Cauliflower Steaks with Roasted Red Pepper Sauce
This Cauliflower Steaks Recipe is unique, delicious, and an excellent choice for Meatless Monday Meals, which is a healthy diet habit
more and more people are adopting worldwide! My son found the
cauliflower recipe and wanted to try it. We used the basic recipe, but
added jalapeno peppers to the sauce for zip! I served the steaks with a
large green salad and sourdough bread that we used to soak up the extra
red pepper sauce! I had actually purchased a rotisserie chicken, in case
my family was not thrilled with the meal, but no one touched the

1 Tbsp olive oil to the skillet and heat until shimmering. Add half of

Add another tablespoon of oil to the pan, and brown the rest of the

in the oven for ten minutes until you can easily pierce them through
with a paring knife and they are nicely browned. Remove, season with
salt and pepper, and serve topped with the Red Pepper Sauce.
The original recipe for the cauliflower steaks was from Bon Appetit magazine, and the Pepper Sauce was from a blog at http://meadowparty.com/blog/?p=2060. I changed the sauce to spice it up and simplify it. It is always a great lifestyle solution to find ways to add more vegetables to your diet and let them take center stage! Yummy!
